The Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw was founded in 1888. It is located in a neo-renaissance building designed by E Marconi.


The exhibitions display Polish folk customes, folk art and crafts and old customes. Beautiful handicrafts, furniture, photographs and inventions present all that's best about Polish cultural heritage. There are also ethnographic collections from Africa, Australia, Oceania and Latin and South America. The Ethnograpgic Museum is also concerned with scientific research into customs, sculpture, customs, graphics, folk painting, embroidery and lace.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday: noon - 5 p.m.

12 PLN - regular
6 PLN - reduced
17 PLN - family ticket
on Saturdays admission free
