Powszechny Theatre
Powszechny Theatre was the first theatre opened after the World War 2. Until the end of 1940s it was a seat of Municipal Dramatic Theatres. Then it was reconstructed and opened again in July 1950 under the directorship of Karol Borowsk


Theatre gained fame because of great shows and fantastic plays of actors. In August 2009 it was rebuilt and modernized one more time. Many appreciated directors and actors worked and performed in Powszechny Theatre including such names like: Adam Hanuszkiewicz, Jan Buchwald, Helena Kaut-Howson, Robert Glinski, Maciej Wojtyszko, Franciszek Pieczka, Zbigniew Zapasiewicz and many more.
