Jimmy Bradley s Irish Bar
Among many culture departments existing in the club music is the one of the most important one. With the time it became the Club's main activity? Today 'concert' is one of the first thing when one thinks of Stodola. Through its first two dacades, jazz music reigned supreme at Stodola. The greatest Polish jazz bands (ie Dixieland Makers, Hagaw, New Orlean Stompers, Old Timers, Vistula River Brass) performed and held rehearsals, here.

As the main jazz center in Poland, Stodola hosted many music festivals like Jazz Jamboree, Old Jazz Meeting and Zlota Tarka. Alongside the local jazz scene, big-beat music also developed here: Tajfuny, Chocholy, Pieciu Pesymistow.

But by the of the 70's Polish ROCK had arrived en force to Stodola. In 1978 a Polish composer, Zbigniew Holdys, started Super Show and Disco Band which two years later transformed into the legendary band "Perfect". Perfect had their rehearsals - like the jazz bands before - in room #6 located in the basement, under the main stage. This room very soon became the epicenter of the Warsaw rock 'n' roll scene. In the 80's and 90's many of Poland's biggest bands rehearsed here (Collage, Kult, Maanam, Oddzial Zamkniety, Perfect, Voo Voo, Wilki).

Kazik Room #6 was more than just a room where music was played: "Whole artistic, emotional and social life of the jazz community was going on in this room" (Jerzy Wieckowski, Vistula River Brass)…. "For Perfect room #6 was the most important place where we played and many times, when someone didn't want to go home we slept there, too." (Grzegorz Markowski, Perfect). Two music videos ("The Artists", "12 groszy" by Kult) were released in this room, in a place where many of Poland's greatest rock hits were composed.

The Club always tried to cultivate a friendly atmosphere conducive to creativity -for everyone involved. Thanks to its unique feeling may of the best Polish rock bands played here and increased the Club's prestige over time. The Bands that got their starts here now hold their anniversary parties, and create and promote new albums.
