Museum of Technology is located in the Palace of Culture and Science. It was first opened to public in 1955, when the Palace of Culture and Science hosted a great exhibit "Technological advancement in the service of humanity".

Today’s collection of the museum is divide into the categories: communication and transport, mining and metallurgy, farming, forestry, the wood industry, the food industry, the basis of technology, teletechnology, astronautics and atomics. There are very interesting exhibits of old cars and motorcycles, gramophones and especially the world-famous Enigma encryption machine that cracked German codes during the Second World War. There is also a Planetarium in museum.

Mondays – closed

Tuesdays – Fridays – 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturdays – Sundays – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
