From 4th to 11th November, the 7th edition of Five Flavours Festival will be held in Warsaw. It is the Poland's only annual review of Asian cinema. The festival was first held in 2007 as the Vietnamese Film Review "Cinema in Five Flavors".

It took a comprehensive retrospective of the Vietnamese film, the first in Poland and one of the few in the world. The next two editions were organized as a film festival "Cinema in Five Flavors". In 2008, the program was enriched by educational activities, related to the theme of multiculturalism and the presence of foreigners in Poland. During the next editions of the festival, films from other film industries in East and South-Eastern Asia, like Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and Korea were included in the program.
This year's edition of the festival will be dedicated to Hong Kong.
This year's sections are:

  • New Asian Cinema: the competition; 9 recent films from East Asia and South-East Asia will be presented
