On 6th December, the 13th edition of the International Film Festival Watch Docs. Human Rights in Films began in Warsaw.


WATCH DOCS is currently one of the world's two largest film events dedicated to human rights presenting documentary films, in which the commitment to individual rights is combined with the art of film. Every year, during the festival nearly a hundred world-class films are screened. In Poland the number of spectators comes to 70000. WATCH DOCS is also the oldest documentary film festival organized in Warsaw - the first edition of the festival was held in 2001.
WATCH DOCS is a festival where every year you can watch dozens of premiere screenings and participate in several meetings with world famous documentarians. The program features also meetings and panel discussions with experts, human rights defenders, journalists and politicians.
Watch Docs International Festival takes place in Warsaw, but since 2003 traveling film festival is also organized, which in 2014 will visit at least 30 Polish cities. Selected festival films can also be seen on the Internet, on the platform Kinoplex.pl.
The festival will last until December 12. This year, the screening will be held in Muranow, KINO LAB, cinema Antropos. Admission to the screenings is free.
